Essence Service offers a wide range of practical support for people who have been diagnosed with mild to moderate dementia and their carers.
Creo was commissioned to design and build the organisation a new website, with particular focus on accessibility due to the target audience of the services.
Large, easy to read fonts were used along with highly accessible colours. There were also clear calls to action such as for information about support available, opportunities for volunteering and buttons for donating.
The service is run by Age UK Sunderland, so the design and development was done in a way that made it consistent with the national Age UK site.
