We’re recruiting for a…
Videographer / Photographer
What we’re looking for.
We are looking for a creative, imaginative, and dynamic photographer / videographer to join team Creo!
A people person, you will be a great communicator, with an eye for detail when it comes to filmmaking and photography.
You will have a passion for creating engaging visual content and stories that work for a range of end uses, including social media and digital.
You will lead on photography and video content for a diverse range of clients from conception to delivery. With a proven track record of directing and leading shoots, as well as editing content to a high standard, you will be confident coming up with exciting ideas that stand out from the crowd. Experience of co-ordinating interviews is also desirable.
With a background in photography, media or a related field, we would like to find a Videographer / Photographer who possesses the following skills:
Technical: Technology has changed the way we communicate, which is why we need someone who understands how social media works, how our clients can embrace it and how we can push boundaries through innovation and creativity
Sociable: We’re a friendly bunch who put people first and we build and nurture close relationships with our clients and partners. We are looking for someone who will bring both professionalism and personality to the role – who is a confident communicator, able to grow strong partnerships with clients that are built on trust
Organisation: Meeting deadlines, multi-tasking and an ability to prioritise are essential skills in a busy agency environment. If you’re a self-starter who can manage your time well, we could be a good fit for you
Software savvy: We aren’t looking for an IT professional…. But we do expect that you can master all of the standard applications you will need for work: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint within the Mac operating system environment
Versatile: We require a person who has a thorough understanding of photography and videography hardware, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and microphones. Someone who demonstrates the ability to select and operate equipment for specific projects, and can adapt on the go
Creativity: Our campaigns challenge the status quo and we want like-minded people who share our passion for big ideas. If you’re not afraid to think big, we’d love to hear from you
Passion: We’re passionate about what we do and our continuous growth has been fuelled by our desire to be the best… we are always striving. We want people who ‘make it happen’ – who don’t stop until they’ve delighted clients with their support
Team player: We firmly believe in the power of collaboration and that – by working together – we achieve much more. We’re not looking for an ‘ego’! We’re after a person who wants to work in partnership aboard our happy ship!
What we have to offer.
Challenge: Communications can be challenging by nature, but if our experience is anything to go by it is also fast-paced and very exciting. We offer a truly creative environment where you’re empowered and supported, and where you will grow quickly.
Development: Our success has been down to our talented people and their versatility in an ever-changing business environment. So we’ve made it our mission to ensure you develop, as we develop. Whether it’s courses for professional development or webinars to refresh your skills, we’ll be by your side as you move through your career, supporting you all the way.
Variety: Working with an array of clients, no two days are the same at Creo towers. From tech to manufacturing, public sector to professional services, you’ll be involved in it all!
Relaxed culture: We take doing a good job for our clients seriously, but we believe strongly that work should be fun. In fact, it’s the key to creativity. So expect lots of laughs – even when the pressure’s on and we’re on deadline. Because we know that everyone does their best work when they’re happy and relaxed.
Flexibility: As well as a Friday flyer, we offer flexibility the other four days of the week too. We have to be around when our clients need us – and generally that’s between 9am-5pm – but we don’t expect you to be chained to a desk during normal working hours… we’re interested in outputs more than hours and have a culture that offers a high degree of flexibility.
A salary of £21,000 – £29,000 per annum, depending on experience.
University degree in a related field of study – media, film, videography, or photography.
